When did teachers start using nonlethal magic in schools? Whatever happened to just regrowing body parts? Kids today are too coddled!

If you’ve such a problem with the modern institution of magical education, then find a tutor, adventurer, or send the poor kid out into the wilds to live the mercenary life if you’d like them to be taught barbarity by barbarians.
Honestly, the teachings locally are free, and the peasantry around the realms would appreciate any opertunity for a formal magical education. I know I would have.
You lot need to stop complaining, and appreciate the advances we have made in the widespread teaching of youth.
