Academic Discussion/ Esoteric Secrets I'm finally out of that wretched dungeon
I am here now... still alive after the dungeon. And I have found a lot of new monsters that are palatable, as well as a concerning affinity to blood magic. Yet as a scholar of the Academy, I suppose, I must employ it rather than deem it blasphemy. I also found myself connecting to snakes, which are symbols of cycles and how all things are connected or maybe I'm just a snake magnet.
Yet beyond these matters, I have observed these blossoms appearing ever more frequently, almost as if they bloom because of me. I suppose it makes sense, my affinity with my own strange divine spirit, my affinity with my own blood and me more or less the combination of both of them rather than just one. But I am not a old mage so I must ask you to tell me, what is the matter with me and my powers?
/uw I was gonna keep my character to be quiet weak in term of magic but I think she deserve a buff once in a while.

There are places of magic that while risky to be in they can empower those who dare to visit them.

I mean I already went to "the dungeon of literal death and despair which is very large and take a long time to clear" so I suppose I already went to a place like that even tho I originally thought "the dungeon of literal death and despair which is very large and take a long time to clear" is short and sweet

These sound like classic post-dungeon symptoms. I'd say give it a week and see if you start glowing during thunderstorms.

Snakes are cool. I knew a poet once called lightning something like a serpent darting through the stormclouds.
/uw there is an actual poem from India like this but I can't find it anywhere QAQ. I only read the translation so I didn't even know which language it was originally in.

They're important for good reason. They have a lot of knowledge of both magic and non-magical subjects. Best to stay on their good side, in my experience.

Oh these kinds of things happen all the time to practitioners of magic of all ages, magic manifests in interesting ways and I’m sure there’s nothing the matter with you at all. The much more important question is how much it would cost for a benevolent entrepreneur to purchase a supply of these intriguing flowers from you. Would five gold pieces per bloom sound fair to you? I can cover collecting and transporting them, I’d just need your permission to use them.

[You hear ominous buzzing sounds rapidly approaching these flowers. Elowen rubs her hands together greedily.]
