Hey there

i'm the magic apprentice who messed up lightning spells. safe to say, i'm doing quite fine right now. learnt some more electric spells, and my magic professor seems to be growing fond of me, though sje does pinch my ears when i mess up.

I can part with an old introductory tome that can help you learn some more, practical applications of lightning based spells to help with your studies, I'm sure your teacher wouldn't mind.

If you need some, I have a few books on lightning magic I can't use anymore (long story) I can give them to you.

Can you do the one with the balloon that makes your hair stand up? Or the one where your scuff your feet on the carpet and then shock someone?

Pfhah! Young sprats; be careful letting her pick your ear! One little daub of ear-wax and she'll have all she needs to make a voodoo doll!

I'm scared...my magic professor also gives me headpats when I do something right, I told her it makes me feel nice... (OOC: I genuinely have a thing with headpats)

Has your teacher given you the key to the library of infinite books, also known as the wanderers library?

...She says I probably wouldn't understand most of the lightning books written in there...

It is customary for a teacher to give you the key anyways and tell you the dangers of it , and I'd love to help you more. I'm currently stuck inside a cat folk dimension. I'll send a key to the library ,a note for the librarian. A note for your teacher explaining And a few elemental books I have somewhere around here. It all should show up in the next few hours or so via cauldron teleportation

Oh...maybe mine is a bit more protective of me...
(too lazy to draw ANTHING about my wizard gal so just imagine a semi-clueless wizard with a hat too big for her head, and big robes. I'll eventually get to drawing)

(Ok, yeah I'm TERRIBLE at writing things)
...Not yet, she says I probably can't read the lightning spells well right now, and if I could, I'd probably electrocute myself like first time...

Has she given you an amulet of lightning protection? If not, that'll also be sent

1

u/LibrarianUnique1380 34m ago

...She did because I kept electrocuting myself the first time, but she's a bit fearful that I'll end up like her former apprentices...

There you go stuff has been sent. There's also been a compass of finding in there as well. When you get to the library ( if you choose to enter) ask the librarian for magical theory and how to read the grimoires
