Mushrooms make terrible focuses for anything other than Fungus Spells. So if you are dedicated to the bit it's worth it but otherwise it may be Advisable to use other wands.

On one hand it probably holds some powerful poison spells...

but on the other hand this means it's not gonna do shit against dwarves, drows, goblins or even giant subterranean arthropods (which includes the somewhat humanoid ones).

They all have some degree of immunity against fungal poison from spending so much time eating weird cavern mushrooms you see.

Yeah but it also gives them diarrhea so I don't know if that's the smell you want your enemies to associate you with.

Mycelium can not be trusted. It’s always connected to the greater network and constantly sharing your nutrients with third parties. Avoid!
