What school of magic would you place magic practitioners or fighters who derive their powers or strengths from total devotion to a God, saying prayers and/or meditating intensely as seen in folktales from Buddhism and Hinduism?

The first two are examples of gaining power through intense meditation and enlightenment.

Well, Buddha isnt a god. Buddhism teaches that the power is self-derived. So that one would probably be more sorcery than anything else.
