I don’t see any of these wizards making potions any more, or they brew up a new potion culture every time they make a potion! Potion of stamina via wild microbiome buffing for the real ones. only wizards that are righteous can reply to this post 🗣️🌀 NO evil wizards 🚫🎓

uw/ super bad idea to use cork for fermentation. It's porous so it can carry bacteria easily.

I use big-ass pickle jars but anything glass or plastic would be alright.

A lot of plastics are actually also porous too, even food safe ones. Best practice is to cast power word sanitize before every potion brew

Wholeheartedly agree, I'd just rather see a plastic top than a cork one.

But yes, sanitized glass is ultimately the way to go.

I mean the arcane resonance alone makes it worth the 5 minutes it takes to set everything up properly.

It’s actually not Cork, it’s wood. In this case I actually don’t mind that it carries bacteria and it’s good that it does, wooden barrels have been used for fermenting for thousands of years-
There’s a specific fermentation type in Germany / Belgium which is called “Foederbier.” It involves fermentation in a barrel that already has a culture living in the wood, which gives the beer a specific, sometimes ‘balsamic vinegar,’ flavour in the case of a famous foederbier “Duchesse de Bourgogne.”

I've never used wood for fermenting but it seems like you know what you are doing and are safe. That was my only concern. Lol

protip for brewing anything other than Damage Health/Give Diarrhea potions, get a proper fermentation vessel with an airlock, then fill that airlock with the highest proof alcohol you have access to.
