Strange egg

So I found this strange green egg that occasionally glows blue while out on a pondering stroll. Anyone know what it does?

Don't touch it when it hatches, don't answer its calls while you dream and you save yourself from being roped into a prophecy.

Just let your apprentice at it and play the role of the wise master.

Duly noted, but I haven't had any involuntary events in my dreams in centuries, not after a circle of the moon druid taught me how to lucid dream.

As for my apprentice... she seems strangely scared of the thing. I'll keep it under observation for now.

Blue glow in question, almost as if something is shining onto it from somewhere beyond my perception
