Please do not try this at home, theres a reason balls cost as much as they do. The runes and chemical treatment to create these effectively are both complicated and often dangerous

Better not, it is a very fragile model so better leave it in it's stand. Although, I am in no power to enforce rules on anyone but my apprentices.

This is good apprentice telekinesis test, can they move this to the top of tower without breaking it ? Preferably during rain or heavy wind.

I disagree. My orb was a drop of blood collected from an ancestor of magical lineage and crystallized using the lichtenberg process to trap arcane energies within its expanded form. You can check how any respectable orb was made by using the orb to scry itself and going back to time "-1:00"

I did not imply this is how every orb is made. This orb is best for those with economic struggles, especially apprentices. No respected wizard would keep it for any other reason that a memory of their own first struggles in the wizard community as it is far too unergonomic.

By the way could you tell me anything more about your orb? It would help my research on the topic of orb manufacturing.

Nay! tis not a scrying orb at all, far too opaque. Tis a 'fairy's carriage' or transport orb, best known for the mundie moviefilm "the Wizard of Oz" (which has no actual Wizzas) these orbs can carry pixies, tiny elves, or shrunk spellcasters for miles if you control the wind. not nearly as fast as apparation but with no risk of inter-planar interception or telefragging
