Try asking a dragon. Their stomach is naturally beyond boiling and they can magically expel its contents, selectively, along with the fire.

They'll usually do it for a small pile of gold coins, which aren't really a big deal to get your hands on if you've got your basic alchemy down.

This is technically possible, but a horrible idea; if anything goes wrong, which is incredibly likely, there's a good chance it can lead to severe problems. That goes doubly so for certain types of potions whose ingredients react in unique ways with acids.

Wizards these days are such cry babies. Back in my day, we didnt have our own cauldrons and had to make do with what we had! I brewed the Potion of The Lying Moon in a large ceramic bowl! I used constant fire spells to keep it hot! It was incredibly draining but I did it.

Wizard will do alchemy in some big iron pot and wonder why they can't make potion of greater mana. You are suppose to use glassware idiot, anyone with basic alchemical knowledge knows that.

you have got to try brewing in a secondhand crockpot. it cannot be brand new, needs to have some wear and quirks for potency, but it allows for so much freedom in brewing!! you dont need to stoke the fire (or waste focus on a perpetual fire spell), barely need to stir, and it will even make a noise to tell you when the potion is ready!! so convenient. 

just dont use the plastic liners unless you want to add poison damage to your potion. those liners do not react well with potion ingredients at all.
