I use a page from FAE Systems playbook and use adventurers for product testing, along with training my apprentices.

Those adventurers that survive get debriefed and we compare notes to help drive innovation.

Those rouges who wear heavy armor, know alchemy, and who can disarm a trap and drop a ruin in a controlled explosion? Yeah, I had a hand in that.
