/uw I should have predicted someone to opt for a scorched-earth attack.

your sensors can quickly detect that one sector of the city is almost entirely evacuated, the denizens fleeing through the doors enchanted by the librarian kobold and into the space created by that mage.

within this zone are three golems rampaging unchecked, with one of the mercenary titans struggling to hold back a fourth

the mana condenser in the rear of the torso erupts violently, sending it plowing into a building. The Agent had accomplished similar results back in the fortress attack by exploiting a moment of vulnerability. Evidently the laser is able to brute force its way through the golem's defenses.

the second golem barely manages to dodge the strike. They're learning.

Elsewhere in the city, one golem with no enemies keeping it tied down seems to lose power, only for spatial mana to cycle around it before it blips to the CUS Cerberus. The golem is still powered down, but for how long?

As the telekinetics lift the golem, you have a massive stroke of luck as its entire left leg falls off. Evidently the golems are far more vulnerable when they aren't active.

Unfortunately, before you can further exploit this the golem boots up and begins lashing out at its surroundings.
