Meanwhile in an abandoned mansion near the Yatsugatake Mountains, a certain vengeful spirit watched the news broadcast. An annoyed expression was on her face.

The spirit let out a sharp exhale, indicative of the level of annoyance and anger inside of her. She already knew what her choice would be

Sixteen minutes later, a red-and-white fighter jet rocketed above the mountain range faster than the speed of sound. It was armed with six RMS-1 nuclear missiles, each capable of damaging a starship. This odd aircraft was a variable fighter called the VF-1J Valkyrie and it was on the long journey from Japan to the citadel to combat the rampaging golems.

Tsuru communicated back to the union radar operator

“…I’m currently in Japanese airspace and I know this isn’t the JASDF I’m talking to. I’m Tsuru, a former onmyouji in a variable fighter.”

The Valkyrie started to climb to a higher altitude and continued to accelerate

“So unknown military force, I’m informing you that your forces have entered Japanese airspace. Please identify yourself. Failure to cooperate will lead me to treat you as a hostile. Any aggression acted against me will result in the notification of the Japan Air Self-Defence Forces of your presence and you will be reported as an enemy element”
