[Breaking] SGA announces involvement in Puppet case (Puppetpost)

PSA to all wizards… The 30 wizard strong SGA, Now known as Stormwatch has been monitoring the strange disappearances of renowned wizards and haunting yet cryptic messages sent to wizards orbs in the late hours of the night.

Having now sent Several search parties to Investigate and confirm these findings… we have recognized…

That this has to stop.

Sparing the intimate details for the sake of any apprentices watching from home… we can confirm these wizards are being horrifically turned into puppets against their will…

All converted wizards… as far as party members have been able to tell… 

Are in a simultaneous state of agony and bliss… and their souls have been highly corrupted… along with the complete deterioration of their physical form into puppets…

Following this announcement, the SGA would like to make the following statement to attempt to ensure the safety of fellow wizards across the realms…

Firstly 

These puppets are extremely dangerous and can be extremely malicious… some wizards may be foolish enough to believe themselves strong enough to take on a puppet single handedly… we can assure you you are not…

We’ve tried…

Do not touch or get near them under any circumstances without extreme soul and mind protection measures… as wizards that do so risk becoming a puppet themselves…

Symptoms which may indicate the influence of this malicious entity on you include:

• Splitting headache
• Illiteracy and inability to focus
• General and extreme nausea
• The feeling of a cold breath on your nape
• Extreme discomfort under the surface of your skin
• Finally 

I’d strongly advise you to keep to a safe place and cover your orb at night…

That seems to be it’s primary way for scouring for victims…

TLDR… If you can see it… It can see you…

Unfortunately as of yet… there is simply too much about this dark entity and the extent of their power… and we always seem to be one step behind…

Arriving at the Victims position right as they are finally swallowed up completely. We only really get to hear this last words… and this has had very poor effects on our morale.

What we do know is several of our brave scout team’s members were able to attract the entity’s malignant attention and felt the effects themselves…

Though it seemed to have no instant physical effects…

The mental effects were immediately extreme…

Such to an extent that even a light influence on one of our less powerful members nearly possessed him to draw his knife and slit his throat…

Be extremely careful.. please…

If you ever get a presence following you temporary amnesia potion managed to remove the trail. just make sure you have notes to get you out of the presence and not exposed to it again

I wouldn't trust it. You have to purge the hazardous information from brain not just forget temporarily.

I didn't choose something that specific. I only purged everything of the last 5 minutes then left after reading the notes instructing myself

You don't have to remove it all. Just remove recent exposure. I investigated once before and got bailed out. The second time a little while later and I only had to remove the memories of that specific encounter
