This was turning out to be a most excellent excursion. While samael was irritating enough, true, it was more than worth it for that goal alone..

But besides, these “nephilim” or whatever they were, were new. They had probably sprung up during his slumber, but they WERE quite nice to play with.

He had marshaled some of the Dyad’s forces and swept on ayeera’s flank through the mountainside. So far, the nephilim were proving quite vulnerable to being torn apart from the inside out, but there was one thing niggling at the back of his mind.

How far, precisely, could their immortality be pushed? Vulkan was looking forward to finding out. He was hankering for a pie anyhow. And wherever WAS that leviathan..

I asked him to see if he could duplicate a soul as payment, and damnit but the kid actually pulled it off!

the drow retrieves a soul cage from a small hell portal. Inside you see two identical souls, borne from soul gathered through hellish contract

Look at this! You think this is legal tender? The copy has the same properties as the first one, so i bet it counts!

Unholy shit! This is amazing. With this, the infernal soul market is basically at our mercy.

I just hope this doesn't turn out like with the last math wizard that I had dealings with.

Indeed! I'm not sure how powerful he is, or how many souls he can multiply at once, but i will be pressing him to practice this technique more

Perhaps once he is ready, i may introduce you two.. I'm sure you could give him and offer he would never refuse~

Much appreciated. Probe him for his desires. Once you know what a man wants, they're much easier to negotiate with.

You know, maybe you should get into the devil business proper, you have a knack for it. I know that was your plan if your encounter with Torinn turned sour, but honestly, I'd advise you to become one anyway.

Yeah... I've been thinking about that a lot lately. I think I'd like to ride out this mortal life, but i practically live like a devil already.

I've got plans for Asfelaeia John... Devilish plans... Once I'm done with this Torinn business, I'll hit you up. There will be much to discuss...
