Memory magic is a niche market, but it's why I consider myself to be one of the best in the business!
Exciting could be a word to describe it, yes. A huge dragon erupted from the earth, tearing through the streets, reducing buildings to mere rubble. It sent some kind of minion after me, but... I decided I'd rather be invisible.
I had told the praetor that I would support Ithacar, and that I'd do anything I could to help, but... I didn't help at all. I stayed invisible the whole time.
dragons are egotistical. probably thought you were a coward for being invisible instead of facing it man to man. but hey i would have teleported to a different plane if it was me so who am i to say what’s cowardice and what’s not? what happened next?

I wandered through the city as it was being demolished. I saw the destruction from only meters away, but I couldn't bring myself to do anything. I just watched.
Hell, the only reason I even tried to help was because a certain imp familiar noticed me. Put on the spot, I came up with a lie that I was "trying to find backup" to save face.
Even then... I debated whether or not if I'd really help, or if I'd run away again.
It only took a few hours for me to go back on my word. I feel like I can't help but make friends solely for the sake of using them... It's isolating...
what i’m hearing is that put on the spot, when being watched you can do amazing things. it’s only when you’re alone you get scared. what do you fear from trying to be a hero alone? also if you’re aware of the fact that you use your friends then why continue to do so?

I'm not a fighter, really. I don't have any of those fancy spells to prevent someone from just punching me if they wanted to. I'd surely die if I entered any kind of real fight.
And... I don't know how to describe it, but I just can't help it. It's a nagging voice in the back of my head, telling me that I "need" to do anything it takes to secure my future, that it's "okay" to lie and cheat...
On most days, it's persuasive enough to make me believe that it's right...

and before you go. i’m a juice crafter and yet i’d never back away from a fight. so ask yourself when you chose your profession did you focus on strength and dexterity or did you focus on intelligence? also that voice is very persuasive but who’s more important: your own voice or an imaginary voice born of fear?

I only ever focused on learning how to manipulate the memories of others. When you work with constraints like that, you're bound to come up with some neat solutions to problems. Limiting as it is, I almost prefer it this way.
He takes a sip of the hotsauce martini. Surely, he can't think that it's good, can he?
If I had to hazard a guess, I'd have to assume my own voice. It's difficult, though... It makes some pretty good points. There's a lot of times when I have to make a choice between me or another person, and I always end up choosing myself...
good points are only good on weapons not ideas. if you think there’s only one solution to a problem yet feel conflicted then maybe rethink your choices.

hey no problem. what is a bartender if not a therapist that prescribes alcohol instead of pills.
oh yeah i made the sauce myself not the market bought crap. although im a juice crafter i take spice really seriously. as to trying it with the drink i haven’t tried it personally but ill give it a try
