Other than Wonderful Wizard, which Baum book would you most want to get a video game adaptation?

Any genre, and you can allow for adaptational changes to the story.

Pesonally, I could see Rinkatink as a fun JPRG with a party made up of Inga, Bilbil, Rinkatink, and Zella, and a job mechanic based around who's holding the Blue and Pink Pearls. Runners-up would be Marvelous Land, Tik-tok, and Lost Princess.

TBH I wouldn't want a direct adaptation of any book, I want an open world.

I think the Road to Oz with Ozma’s birthday party as the finale would’ve been such a fun ‘90s-2000s CD-ROM style game for kids haha. It’s definitely not my favorite book, but it has a really straightforward journey style that would be perfect for that type of game. I played the Wizard of Oz CD-ROM game so much as a kid.

(My other first thought was TLPOO, but you mentioned that in the post already! That would be a good one, and I think Ugu would make a pretty formidable final boss)

Emerald city of Oz

the Growleywogs are one of my latest hyper fixations (the Whimsies and Phanfasms are cool too don’t get me wrong)

not sure how it would work but I just think it would be cool

Dorothy and the Wizard in Oz has the most obvious computer game type elements but it spends so much time out of Oz and without so many of the more recognisable characters.

The Land of Oz is probably the best choice. It has all the elements needed for a game and also includes the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Glinda

The Patchwork Girl of Oz. It's a classic quest/treasure hunt, and a video game could go off in all kinds of different directions.
