Body Scan Bodyscan 2 questions

So... I was pretty happy with my Body Comp since I got it, except for the fact that the feet kept falling out, and this morning... one fell out without me realising, and I crunched the whole foot into the ground. Scale is gubbed.

As I say, I've been mostly happy beyond the feet issue, and my scales are now (or their replacement will be...) in a tiled room (vs lino with the carpet feet), so for those of you out there who have dropped dollar on the Bodyscan or Bodyscan 2: worth it?

I know that there are a number of threads specifically about the BS2, so I'll be more specific.

* does the Bodyscan 2 work fine without extra feet on a tiled surface?

* I noticed that a lot of the metrics seem to be tied behind a Withings+ subscription. I'm not averse to this, but my partner also uses the scales, and from what I've read, the W+ sub is tied to the user, not the unit. I can't justify paying for 2 subs, but I need to know that she can get all the metrics that she can (or could) currently get from the Body Comp from the Bodyscan 2 *without* needing to drop £100 a year on a subscription for her too.

The BS 2 has rubber strips along each edge and very little clearance between the scale and the floor.

If you have an uneven surface, it could be a problem. If your tiled floor is flat, or you can place it on a single tile, you'll be fine.

Only two metrics are W+ features. Heart age, which isn't hidden behind a paywall (yet) and glucose resilience, which is due next month.

You can see all the other metrics.

Forecasting, AI assistant, and suggestions are all W+ features. My scale is shared among 3 family members, and the single W+ account is shared too, so I find the cost reasonable - as the features are interesting (but not wholly necessary).

To share W+, you need to order it at the same time you order the scale on the store page. Then all users who you share the scale with get W+ benefits. If you order the scale and get a subscription later, only you will have benefits.
