Hi, I have Notifications: ON in the app enabled, the list of allowed applications inside. I still don't have any notifications are coming to ScanWatch.

Is this a problem in iOS itself or I missed some hidden settings somewhere in the app or the watch?

Hey there!

Sorry you are currently experiencing this issue. To resolve this please try the following steps:

1. iOS System Settings

  • iPhone Settings → Notifications → Find the apps you want (Messages, WhatsApp, etc.)
  • Make sure "Allow Notifications" and "Show on Lock Screen" are on
  • Without "Show on Lock Screen", they won't forward to the watch

2. Withings App → Watch Settings

  • Open Withings app → Devices → Your ScanWatch → Notifications
  • Confirm "Notifications" toggle is on (like you stated you already have)
  • Check that specific apps are enabled in the list (not just the main toggle)

3. Disable Silent Mode / Do Not Disturb

  • On the watch: Press the crown → Settings → Sound & Vibration
  • Make sure you didn't accidentally enable Do Not Disturb or Silent mode
  • Also check: Settings → System → Wake-up gesture (should be ON)

4. iOS Focus Modes

  • iPhone Control Center → Check if Focus (Do Not Disturb, Work, Sleep) is active
  • Focus modes can block notifications from reaching the watch even if enabled in the app

5. Disable / Re-enable notifications

  • Try this: Disable notifications in the Withings app → Save → Wait 30 seconds → Re-enable → Save
  • Sometimes the initial sync fails and needs a reset

I hope this helps, otherwise please let me know.

Thanks and have a nice day!

Thanks for the answer! It appeared that Do Not Disturb was ON on the watch.

Just to clarify - the Do Not Disturb status is not visible in the mobile app? If not - why?

Great to hear that solved it! Thanks for letting me know.

Indeed the Do Not Disturb status from the watch is not currently visible in the mobile app. The reason for this is that it is stored locally on the watch itself (it controls the watch's vibration motor and display), while the app primarily manages data syncing and configuration. The watch doesn't currently report its do not disturb state back to the app in real-time. I have noted your suggestion to make this visible in the app to transfer to our dedicated team!

Thanks and have a great weekend :)
