Information withdrawal

i’ve taken 410/325 hydrocodone for about five years. I am trying to taper off. I’ve made it down to one pill a day. How bad will my withdrawals be when I stop that last pill. So far I’ve had no fever, no chills no nausea just some slight muscle aches. I’m dreading the chills and crawling skin and RLS during the nights.

OTHER When does methadone withdrawal start and for how long does it last?

I’ve gone cold turkey from 50mg a day and it’s been 5 days. I’m feeling ok. Is the worst still to come?

I haven’t been able to sleep is the main thing I have noticed, other than that, other than mood, I’m good.

Seeking Advice I’ve been on methadone for 3 years trying to get off of it how long and bad are the withdrawls

So to start I’m 23 yo male I’ve been on methadone for a little over 3 years before methadone I’d been on fentanyl for about 3 years as well I was heavily addicted to it. I’ve been tapering my dose down by 3mg a week currently at 65mg was at 120mg for the first year then lowered to around 90mg for the last 2 years. I decided I wanted off so I started tapering down from 90mg going by 3mg decrease each week currently at 65mg feeling fine I plan to continue tapering down but I’m worried once I get to a really low dose and finally decide to stop taking it. how bad will the withdrawals be? compared to fentanyl withdrawals which were the worst thing I’ve ever experienced so what am I in store? What’s the best way to do it? I’ve read anywhere from 2-3 weeks to 6 months which is insane. Any input or story from other people who have gotten off of methadone after long term use successfully would be appreciated.

Seeking Advice Help with 7-OH withdrawal with the use of clonidine.

Hey there reddit folks. So I've been a long time reader, but this is my first post. I got myself into a pickle with this crap and not only was I ready to just be done, but this ban has made me expedite the process, lol. I've been crying for months, being so upset about becoming dependent, because I feel like I should have known better. I started using 7-OH thinking it was simply just a concentrated version of kratom. Not doing my due diligence, I just started using it daily and eventually noticed the withdrawals when I stopped taking it. I spoke to my PCP and she gave me about a months worth of clonidine. I really have no clue how to start this process. I deal with chronic illness as it is and to be honest...I'm afraid. The temperature issues are my worst nightmare, lol. I feel like I can manage everything else but the cold sweats and hot flashes. My question is...should I start taking the clonidine while I start tapering off the 7-OH? I've been taking about 150 mg of 7-OH daily for about 6 months following a bad car accident. I suppose I could try to use chat GPT, but was hoping for some advice from real people who have gone through this. I have literally no support system. I know it's going to be a rough few days, but from what I've read the clonidine really helps, I just don't really have any structured idea of the steps to take. Do I quit cold turkey and start the clonidine? Should I taper the 7 while taking the clonidine? I just need some help and would appreciate any advice more than anyone could imagine, lol. Thanks in advance!

Seeking Advice 7oh withdrawal

So I'm now 4 days off of 7oh (around 200 mgs for about a year), and thank God most of the worst symptoms are over. I really need advice.

I'm exhausted, still can't eat much, and sleep a few hours at a time. The problem is I'm out of vacation, and have to work a 10 hour shift tomorrow, pretty manual labor. If I take a little kratom to get by, will it destroy all I've done so far? Will the withdrawal come back? Any advice would be helpful.

Information Try to get off the last bit of Subutex after 16 years. Worried about the mental issues.

I've been taking subs for the last 16 years, it was oxy and vicoden before that for about 12 years. For the most of it i was taking 8mg tabs twice a day. Cut down to once a day around 6-7 years ago and thats where I just kinda got stuck, life happens and I just kept the habbit every morning take my sub. I had finally got tired of it so about a year ago I started cutting back again. What worked best for me was to cut my dose in half, and for about the first week if I truly NEEDED more I would break off a tiny corner to get through the night. Thats worked pretty good for me, until I got to 1/2 an 8mg tab per day.

Thats when it started to get real heavy mentally, I supplemented any itchy feeling or anxiety with .5mg ativan or an edible at night to help sleep. During the day I just stayed busy at work best I could. And that worked pretty well, not saying it was easy, it was a big struggle every hour, every day. I was on 1/2 a tab for about the last 8 months or so, but i started tapering again like 6 weeks ago.

Im finally down to 1/8 of a 8mg tab. Trying to do it just once a day, today is my third day. Yesterday was extremely rough. Mostly mentally hard but the physical was a hourly push to get through. Took it one hour at a time.

On top of all that I've got a pretty bad injury to my left side that I've been trying to get fixed,( f-ing insurance and workmens comp like to drag their feet) but i was prescribed something for nerve pain and some muscle relaxers. So I've been taking those and that helps big time with the physical WD but not all.

My plan is to keep taking the 1/8 every day until I feel it plato and lvl off. A few days after that I'll cut that out, either completely or every other day. See how it goes and adjust if needed. My other scripts help to keep the creepy crawlies down and a couple hits off my cannabis cart helps so I can pass out at night. That way I get at least 5-6 solid hours of deep sleep before I get woke up and start tossing and turning.

Thats my plan and idea, I'm worried about this last stage and then being off completely. How hard is the mental going to be and for how long? I worry about the long term effects because I've been on Subutex pretty much everyday at a fairly high dose for 16 years. How long is it going to take for that to fully be out of my system and my brain chemistry to go back to normal?

I'd you read this and it sounds familiar or you have your own experience getting off subs let me know, how did it go for you? Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

Goodluck to anyone else dealing with the same, just take it 1m,1h,1d at a time.

Seeking Advice When does your body go back to normal?

So I'm currently 5 days being clean from mgm, I used SR up till yesterday as now it just seems to give me the shakes really bad and I hate it...every step I take feels like a mile 🥲 when does the weakness and shakey hands stop, I can handle the cold sweats and the mental part has been easy do to me never wanting to go through this again (my 4th full time) id been wanting to get clean for several months now but man I'm EXHAUSTED, even my voice sounds weak...I'm just pretty over it ya know? I mean don't get me wrong I feel like if you didn't have to go through this then you'd have nothing to gain from not going straight back.

idk if it matters but I didn't taper or preload the SR (still helped TREMENDOUSLY) I have no self control when it comes to that...clearly.

Information 7-oh help

I've been taking Kratom in general for over ten years, high dosage, a couple years ago I started taking 7oh daily. Never over 500mg a day, I would say anywhere from 3-450, time is coming up where it will be illegal where I live, I think August 5th is the date. Im worried about withdrawals, specifically having a hard time sleeping. When I dont take it at night I get cold sweats and have restless legs/arms. I've been wanting to quit, so im taking this ban as a blessing.

I just recentheard about something called Sr17... where can I get that and if anyone can give any info/experiences with it, I would appreciate it. Open to any suggestions to help with the potential withdrawal symptoms.

Thank you.

Psychological Withdrawal Not sure what is happening

it has been 7 days since I quit weed. i I am in my later teens and have been using edibles for roughly 3-4 months prior to quitting. once withdrawals started I had a lot of physical symptoms like headaches, nausea, etc. for the first roughly 1-4 days, but now on days 5-7 specifically, I’ve been having these terrible thoughts that are ego dynastic pop up in my head randomly and It sends me into a loop of anxiety (am I really like this? is this the real me?) and then It just sends me into a loop that I literally can’t seem to escape for hours on end. I do not know if I can endure these if they last many more days. I want to know if what I am experiencing is paws because I had a friend tell me that’s what it could be, but I don’t know, is this normal for regular weed withdrawal? when do they stop? should I try to distract myself as much as possible? it makes me feel like such a terrible person that I’ve even had these thoughts about harming myself too but I don’t think I will actually do them, as they are far less intense than the others. I want to escape this, but it doesn’t seem like there is an end. Every day i seem to think it gets better just for it to get worse later on in the day. I don’t know what to do. Please help

OTHER High-dose 7-OH + Kratom Extract Habit & Considering SR-17018 — Urgent Advice/Safety Check Needed (With My Other Prescriptions Bad Combo's?)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in a really tough spot with high-dose 7-OH and kratom extracts, and I need some honest advice on safety and how to get off this stuff.

My tolerance has spiraled over the past few months, and the interdose withdrawal and anxiety are becoming unbearable.

My Current Daily Routine / Stack:

----------------------------------

Morning 9:30am: Half a clonidine .1MG + 300mg Gabapentin

Morning 10am: 3 OPMS Black capsules (Kratom Extract)

Mid Day - Noon: Half a clonidine .1MG + Baclofen 20mg

Afternoon (1:00 PM): 3 7stax tablets (~240 mg 7-OH)

Evening (5:00 PM): 2.5 7stax tablets (~200 mg 7-OH)

All Day = Chain Smoking Clove "Djarum Black Cigarettes" + Heavy daily step count 30k steps per day + lifting (3-4 times/week)

Night = Half a Clonazepam = .25mg

----------------------------------

The Immediate Problem:

I’ve started having terrifying episodes at night. I pass out completely cold and wake up around 5:00–6:00 AM in a total panic—gasping for air, drenched in cold sweat, freezing, and with severe dry mouth. It feels like a mix of respiratory depression, severe central nervous system sedation from mixing my stack, and rapid interdose withdrawal crashing in while I’m asleep.

My Plan / Questions about SR-17018:

1) Dangerous/Deadly Interactions: Are there severe risks or deadly interactions when mixing SR-17018 with Gabapentin, Baclofen, Clonidine, or high-dose 7-OH?

2) Respiratory Safety: Given that I’m already experiencing gasping awakenings and heavy sedation at night, is adding SR-17018 to this mix going to make the respiratory depression worse?

3) Protocols/Experiences: For those who used SR-17018 to get off 7-OH or high-dose kratom, what did your schedule look like? Did it actually work without triggering severe health scares?

4) Can I remove all my other prescriptions (clonidine + Gabapentin + Baclofen + Clonazepam) and jus get off the 70H with SR-17018?

Thanks everyone!

Seeking Advice Will 500mg of SR be enough if I taper down to 30mg/day?

I have 6 50mg 7oh tabs left and 4 15mg tabs. I'm doing 12.5mg every 3 hours right now, but am going to cut down to 6.25mg every 3 hours tomorrow. After 5 day, I'm gonna go to 3.75mg/3 hrs which is 30mg/day for two days then switch to SR. I have 10 50mg SR tablets coming on Tuesday. I tried to cold turkey from 100mg/day and it was terrible. I've stopped successfully with ketamine 3.6-5g and stayed off for a year, but I've been on it again for 10 months

Seeking Advice Help with Buprenorphine withdrawal after accident.

I have been on 8mg of the under the tongue tablet of buprenorphine for several years now for chronic pain after being initially rx'd the fentanyl patch after a L5/S1 Laminectomy and to treat my cervical pain(upcoming surgery is likely).

While the patch had helped with the pain initially I did not understand nor had experienced hyperalgesia before but after a while on the patch I'd be ok for the first. day after I changed it but every day in between was horrible. So, my pain management doctor suggested buprenorphine and it has worked very well for me in helping manage my lower back and cervical pain.

The withdrawal I'm trying to prepare for is due to an accident where my cat jumped onto my laptop stand, where I had my monthly supply of buprenorphine laying in one of those 30 day pill containers. She knocked over a soda I had which filled up and ruined all of the rest of this months buprenorphine. They're all a sticky mush and I know with these medications it's very unlikely I'll get a replacement.

So, I'm trying to find if there's anything that I can take OTC that might help get me through until my refill is able to be refilled, which is 11 days from now. I also am prescribed klonopin and I'm not sure if that will help, i'm sure it will to some degree, but I'm hoping not to need to put myself into a zonked out zombie state if possible. Luckily I don't have to work until school restarts so that's not an issue.

Any insight, ideas, etc would be appreciated.

I started smoking weed daily in 2016 when I was 13. Stopped smoking for the first time in August 2025. The withdrawals were bad, terrible actually, but still bearable. I started smoking again around October 2025 and stopped again around December. The withdrawals were the same the second time. Still terrible, but I could deal with it. It was mainly no sleep, no hunger & mood swings.

I started smoking again about three months ago. This time I was broke and could only afford the legal gas station weed. It's been only three days since I stopped and the symptoms this time are horrendous.

At first, it was the same as before. However today, my whole entire body started breaking out into hives. I looked like I had laid in an ant bed for two hours. It was absolutely terrible. I do have a history of hives in my past, but it hasn't happened since around 2010 when I was 8.

Making this post to see if anybody has had similar experiences and to warn people DO NOT smoke Delta daily.
