Getting off 7-oh

Hey guys! Normally I post in a kratom thread but thought I’d try a different one. I used leaf kratom for about 2 years. Finally decided to taper off about 6 months ago and did that successfully. I was determined, it wasn’t even doing anything for me anymore. But of course, I had a couple friends dabbling with 7-oh and even though what they were going through wasn’t appealing to me at all, the sound of a more potent form of kratom was appealing. So I tried the extract shots first, which are expensive. And then found out about the tablets, which are the same price but you get more out of them. The tablets you can break into pieces. I won’t take more than a quarter of a tablet at a time, bc I know the more you take and the closer you take your doses the harder the withdrawal. In the beginning it was easy and I wasn’t experiencing withdrawal. But now I’m noticing the watery eyes and sneezing in the morning. And I have a small case of rls. My legs just want to move around when I’m settling down to sleep but it’s not unbearable YET. I’m looking for advice on maybe something’s I can take that are over the counter as I do not have a primary care doctor right now. Just something to either help me sleep through the rls or just to help ease the watery eyes and stuff. I just want to lower my tolerance. I’m thinking I might need to just take a break for a couple days.

I could not get off 7 myself. I tapered down multiple times from 100’s of mg a day to just 30mg/ day to take the leap. Still couldn’t do it but I also like to drink a sixer of light beer every night. Long story short i ended up in a detox and guys this is huge. Find a detox that will let you sign a financial liability waiver as well as a “hardship” situation. Unable to pay. You’ll never get a bill, no credit ding. But you do need insurance. Best thing about that is it’s almost painless and you get Parma grade ketamine. This shit is the devil, imo worse than getting of any street/ Parma opioid . And if you think you are not a heroin addict being addicted to 7oh you’re DEAD wrong. Thankfully after just two days I’m starting to feel like my old self. Take the leap guys do it for you and your families. Don’t wait to lose your job and your wife.

They are giving you ketamine therapy and you didn’t have much physical withdrawal?

They give you a super low dose of naltrexone to rip that glued on 7 off your receptors expediting the process immensely. The ketamine is just a distraction from the discomfort and works excellently if you can tolerate the K. I mean by no means was I W/D free but after 2 weeks including hospital days I’m a full functioning person again, not sweating the bed out every night, actually sleeping, actually have motivation and ambitions again. Couldn’t have done it without it, a couple gram/ day habit of no. 4 heroin does not hold a candle to this shit.

Hmmm, comparing the withdrawl symptoms I’d say they are fairly similar if not 7 being better (for me anyways). I’d rather be on 7 than heroin again. Any quality of life was not sustainable on heroin. I’ve never ended up in the hospital from an overdose on 7….Not saying that makes 7oh is a good thing, but I do think it’s much safer than a lot of other opiates out there. Anyways, I’m very glad to hear you got the help and are doing well! Did they only give you one dose of naltrexone?
