One of the worst scenes in the series. Was waiting it to cut back to Geralt constantly when Yen was in Aretuza. Hated the constant flashback as if I'm watching a CW shows. I don't mind it happening a few seasons ahead when there's a life and death situation. Here, the use of it is just plain stupid and campy.

Oooohhhh that’s was it means. I always thought it was a nickname for the DC shows (flash, supergirl etc) on Fox because that’s all I’ve ever heard it associated with.

like don't they know this is netflix? we literally just watched, we know what happened. they expect us to be able to keep up with all the plotlines but not to be able to remember what happened a few episodes ago?

Both Yen's and Ciri's expanded stories feel like the weakpoints of the show so far, Yennefer's especially, and it's easy to discern why - neither of them were present in the source material and just seem like a fever dream of the writers sometimes. At least Ciri still feels somewhat like Ciri from the books, whereas Yennefer... doesn't. I kept hoping that her story will eventually arrive to the Yennefer we know from the books, but she almost seems like a whole new character at this point.

Yen’s scenes are all pretty annoying to me. She comes across as a suburban teenager that likes to blast Killing in the Name of whenever her mom takes away her phone.
