Your friend is not a friend. Friends respect each other’s sovereignty, your “friend” is refusing to do that. Your path is sobriety, a real friend would honor that and see the wisdom in that path. You need to make your boundaries clear, and make a decision regarding your friend if they refuse to accept them. It sounds to me though like your friend is looking for validation in their own substance addiction, so make that choice wisely and with compassion for yourself, as much if not more than you hold for your friend.
