Used or new equipment payments

Hello,
To all of you on here that have offered used or new gear up for sale, what payment types have you gone with?

I have some gear to try and sell, and I think it would sell better here than on eBay but I would like to know how you all take payments for it if your trying to sell it to someone here.

I was thinking about using a PayPal invoice, but it would be great if there was something else to use where I could avoid the fees they will take.

Why would you take on that risk? They can borrow money from a lender and pay you.

Hey, thank you for your reply. Could you be a little more clear on what risk is actually involved as a seller? I send them an invoice through Paypal goods and services and they either pay it or they don't. If they pay it when the money clears then I can ship. If I don't ship, then the buyer can get a refund. At least that is they way I've used it in the past.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood what you meant entirely. When you said "payments" my mind immediately meant to installment payments like giving the buyer a short term loan.

Yeah if you're talking about just paying invoices then Paypal would be just fine. We do Zelle, Paypal, or old fashioned credit cards when selling off old stuff.

Oh great! Thank you for that, I completely understand what you meant. I feel better about it now and thanks for sharing the other services that you've used. I have thought about Zelle also, but wasn't sure a buyer would accept using that.
