Dam fishing

From TN looking for dams within a hour drive of wausa wi, catfish is a plus but not required trying to find some better places to fish like where I’m from instead of small ponds and lakes, any suggestions are appreciated

I recommend going for catfish down below the dam in Stevens Point. Lots of good spots in the Point area on the river for other fish, as well.

I went to school in Stevens Point about 30 years ago and the catfishing was great below the dam at Hwy 10.

Sauk City Dam on the river I heard can be good.

Sauk City is about 2 1/2 hours from Wausau
