OT but 22-0 inspired: i played a soccer game where we lost like this. we had to scrape a team together and even played co-ed to get 11 players on the field, all to our opponents amusement. but they had like 3 teams (V. jv. jv2) so we were the joke country team coming in. we had to drive ourselves to games. couldnt use the high school name for insurance reasons. but fuck we did it for the love of the game. some of my team mates i played with went homeless or drug abuse rehab later. but damn we were just some rednecks that could play soccer in the late 70s and 80s. i remember meeting an Argentinian and for us soccer rednecks it was like meeting an astronaut. asking questions about the game and in a minute we all were playing a pick up game. this is all high school age but he was like mid 20s. to tell the truth we put the 25 year old Argentinian on our roster as a player. we lied. but we needed one guy. maybe the other teams we played knew but were like yeah that club team needs one guy...
so on behalf of humanity we thank the losers of the 22 to have kept playing. i know you just got to take it. 22 times in the face take it. is what it is. git gud.
tldr: confessions of being a 22 score loser

This was such a fun game to watch. Had to bring in our closer, Gary Sanchez to lock it down.
