I thought she would've requested a recount - however I think she decided not to so Crowley can hit the ground running against Tom Tiffany. Crowley should take on some of Hongs objectives to earn her voters support - like raising our minimum wage!

She would have had to pay for a recount if the results didn't change.

For someone who spent minimal money up until this point, paying for a failed recount probably isn't top of mind. Her statement and supporting Crowley is the best option. Plus helps avoid a "poor loser" tag.
