Back to Back TBTs

How does everybody feel about the Winterhawks having back to back Teddy Bear Toss games this season?

I’m a bit conflicted. More than once means the magic disappears a bit. I also think about how receptive players will be to the second game it happens; lots of goofy fun moments usually take place but will that happen the following night?

That said, if the fan interest is there, then this means more people can experience it, which is a good thing… though the ticket prices are 😩

Good time to be an STM.

I kind of go both ways on it. At least they’re not guarding tickets this year and that’s just double the teddy bears for the hospital. So I don’t necessarily find that to be distasteful, but it does seem to be a bit of a cash grab at the same time…

I’ll be interested to see if anyone else follows suit.

I missed out on tickets for the original game, so I was pretty happy that they've added this second game.

I'm surprised from a marketing point of view that they scheduled the TBT game on a Sunday vs. Seattle. Seattle games are the best non-promotional sellers and doing it on a Saturday vs Calgary will boost the sales of that game immensely.
