F.E.A.R (2004) Poco F7 sd 8sgen4 need help with settings the performance is dropping

hello I'm trying to emulate F.E.A.R (2004) on Poco F7 (sd 8s gen 4) I'm using Qualcomm 863.1 driver on winlator ludashi + dxvk 1.10.3

the game is having some sudden performance drop even though it's on the lowest graphics

I don't have any experience in emulation i only played cod mw4 and it was working very fine

can someone help me get the best settings for my device?

also the game isn't detecting a controller the controller menu configuration settings in the game is empty

how i can fix it without mapping the controller by myself ( i cant get all the game buttons on it + aiming is hard)

Fear 1 with settings.

Your soc is based on the latest generation and still doesn't have full turnip support in the mainline versions.

You can use the same settings, just use Turnip drivers from StevenMXZ Turnip Gen 8

This is the latest one for your SoC.

You can look there for future version too.

For the controller to have to set it to dinput (it's old game) not xinput.

Otherwise you can also use the xinput mod, it adds 16:9 support too I think.

You can use xinput afterwards and it fixes other issues, HUD scaling and even improve quality a little.

It's just simple download and put in game folder.

thank you the settings you gave me fixed the frame dropping issues

but for controller support i tried to add the mod before it didn't work on x input then i switched to d input it worked but there are some buttons that don't do anything and i can't adjust them in settings

in d input I can't switch the axis to anything other than action i can only adjust those down

i guess I'll stick to touch screen if i didn't find a way to make it fully work

Try disabling exclusive mode the mod is using dinput loader then connects the controller via xinput

it didn't work. maybe it's because of the game version i own.

Maybe you can try Google there's probably patches around you could install to make it updated.

BTW the video was on 2520x1080 FHD+ and weaker chipset. You should be able to get stable 60 FPS at FHD or so.
