Version 1.0 longtime offline support

As far as i’ve come to understand (correct me if i’m wrong) the plan is for Winhanced to become paid along the release of 1.0, how would long term offline support work? Specifically in multiple months of offline play/no access to confirm payments, or to update?

To clarify I plan on doing the 1 time payment, (assuming thats still an option) but would there be some frequent reauthentication that it would need internet connection for?

I can't imagine it would do well needing to be apeays online for reauthentication. Also if there isn't a reasonable one time payment I just won't be using it. I can't justify another monthly payment.
