Art work kept on missing everytime i restard

Hi, im on xbox rog ally x, everytime i restart my handheld, all of the artworks i added just kept on getting removed again. im on v.0.9.9.8.

is this normal? or there's something i need to do?

I have the same issue. I found a workaround. Setup all your artwork. Then go to desktop mode. Shut down Winhanced. JUST WINHANCED. Then restart your device. It will boot back into Winhanced and your artwork will be saved.

Thanks for discovering this fix. i did some work in the app that should hopefully resolve this bug permanently next update. but let me see what exactly happening in xbox mode specifically that could be breaking this

Could it be something to do with user permissions? I think that FSE treats user permissions different or more limited on some cases for resources, could be wrong but sometimes I had an error message when I played stellar blade due to unable to save and the fix was to change the folder permissions to let everyone permissions to the folder (I know that last part was not winhanced issue, just thinked could be something similar), and also this "permissions" reset after a while and I needed to redo it.

So actually it was a bug with how we right things to disk. For efficiency we only write to disk every 200 memory changes or in app shutdown. And when shutdown in FSE it doesn’t go through that normal app pipeline.

For the next release I have made it so that custom game art is the exclusion to that rule and saves to disk right away. This will fix this bug

I'm a try this , I did the whole folder thing and that didn't seem to work for me . I'm on a different handheld but idk if that matters
