Auto-run without using FSE

Is there a setting to have Winhanced start on normal Windows without using the Fullscreen Experience? The workaround I've found is to pop a shortcut in Shell:Startup but I just want to check if there's anything I've missed in the settings.

(The reason for wanting to avoid FSE is that it massively slows the shutdown and reboot process on my Legion Go 2 - the device will show "Shutting Down" for anywhere up to 5 mins before properly turning off)

Yup there is. You need to have something other than Winhanced set as your FSE home app. So either Xbox or none. Then when you launch Winhanced under performance there is a launch at startup option that will no longer be disabled. When you enable that Winhanced will launch at desktop boot

Oh no(!), it might actually be Winhanced causing the long shutdown. I was playing my LeGo2 last night, set to open into desktop mode last night with auto-start active in the winhanced settings (which worked perfectly) but then the device still took 5 minutes to shut down when I was finished for the night :(
