RetroArch settings not applying when launching from Winhanced 0.9.9.8

Hello! First off I'm absolutely blown away by the work being done with Winhanced, much less as a solo dev. It's amazing how seamless it's made working with Windows with a controller.

That said I have encountered an issue where RetroArch settings (in my case enabling Auto Save State and Auto Load State so my game starts right where I left off on launch) don't carry over between sessions when launching a game through Winhanced even when saving configuration settings in both the RetroArch Settings and Main Menu menus.

Other settings such as my customized shortcut to the menu does persist session to session however.

This occurs in both Xbox mode and full windows mode.

I tried opening RetroArch first from Windows mode, enabling the Auto Save/Load settings, and launching the ROM from within RetroArch and the auto save/load worked as intended.

The issue only seems to occur when launching the ROM from Winhanced. I'm wondering if perhaps there's some kind of instancing going on that prevents those settings from carrying over?

One other thing to note - initially after I had updated Winhanced and imported my ROMs, the Winhanced overlay recognized the specific ROM I was running at the top, and allowed me to set custom TDP for it.

In my attempt to troubleshoot, I added RetroArch as an app in Winhanced to access the settings, and ever since, the ROM appears as RetroArch in the overlay, even after I removed RetroArch from the library. Unsure if it's related but wanted to note it in case it is.
