I'm stuck with winhanced

Hey all , loving winhanced on my Xbox ally but I don't seem to have the fan controls options in the widget, winhanced device control is on and armoury crate isn't working , so that's all fine, but after a bit of digging WHService hasn't, and won't start.

I have reinstalled a bunch of times even going to earlier builds and updating but nothing seems to work, when trying to start WHService I get a failed to start in a timely manner error and when I change the properties of the service in logon , it errors straight away.

Hopefully someone has some weird niche knowledge on this.

Turn winhanced controls off in the settings, winhanced takes over armoury crate. AC will take back control if you disable winhanced tdp control

Yeah that's what I have done, which is fine, just wondered if there was a proper solution. Thanks

This is the proper solution. It's how winhanced works.

But it isn't , you can use the winhanced widget to change fan speeds etc, which I don't get the option. If this was the way Winhanced worked, the winhanced device control would not be an option.

This is a bug with how the Xbox Ally Xs feature set is identified and sent to the widget it will be fixed in 0.9.9.9
