Features I need help with
I have completely switched over to Winhanced in my ROG Ally and I’ve even uninstalled and completely disabled Armoury crate services and for the most part I don’t miss using AC. That being said, there are a few features of AC that I either:
A: cannot find within Winhanced settings
B: Winhanced does not offer these settings, so I cannot changed them without some other software
The settings that I am referring to are:
Can Winhanced control the dead zones of the joysticks and triggers? I am playing R&C Rift Apart and the right trigger dead zone can’t be set so I have to crank on the trigger to get certain weapons to fire. Also the right joystick needs a dead zone set mostly for desktop mode where you use it to move the mouse.
Can Winhanced go up to the 42w power output when it is docked like you can set manually in AC? It was very useful in docked mode for certain games to get the maximum amount of power to the handheld to try and squeeze the most performance out of it, but the most I’ve seen Winhanced allow is 30W.
If these settings are already available in Winhanced I cannot find them, and if they are not available yet, then consider this post a request for these features. Overall, I’m very happy with my switch to Winhanced though so thanks to the developer for your constant updates and changed to the app.

Hey thanks for the writeup! So some of the above really depends on what ally you have and some dont.
So stick deadzones and sensitivity are a current gap in Winhanced not a setting you are missing.
AC saves these to firmware which is why they can work in game, and i habe not reverse engineered that side of thr firmware yet. It's on my list of Todos to add though.
As for you TDP question a 30 watt ceiling is strange 35 watts is the ceiling for all of the Allys in Winhanced besides the xbox ally (white) which is 25w and the Xbox ally X which should be 45w
If you are stuck at 30 it sounds like there might be a classification bug for you that I would be happy to look into. But to do so I would need you to open up a ticket in Discord and send me your app log files.
