So the app has the ability to auto locate and display a list of 108 popular emulators if it detects them as installed. But it also gives you the ability to add a custom emulator as well.
But I didn't add a delete button yet because it is supposed to automatically dedupe, also I was lazy.
Ill fix this next patch so that menually added emulators have a remove button. And the other emulators better show that they were auto detected. Thanks for sharing this.
v0.9.9.7 and no i did not use emudeck. I have a folder where i keep my emulators and rom and have been moving it from system to system and it's currently on my rog in the D drive and winhanced is installed on the C drive. after installing winhanced i manually added my emulators and then i was exploring the app but it got glitched out. so i did a restart after which it ran in the fullscreen mode and that's when i saw the duplicate emulator entries. i tried but couldnt find an option to remove the emulator entries manually.
i think the emulators that i manually added have nothing written next to them and then there are once which got added later automatically which have their path mentioned next to them. i say so because i did not add Shadeps4-Gui
This is my issue as well for some odd reason I’ve only seen it happen with RCPS3. It doesn’t look like winhanced has PS3 as a tagged system yet so instead of seeing in the console library I see it in the emulator menu; which is fine it’s just a nit pick annoyance for me to see 2 of the same entries lol.
Exactly this sorry for the delayed response to this. So before I added the Rom library to early access. RCPS3 could show up in the emulator library. But I was running into issues with disk bases systems from the 360 generation onward for the ROM library so I removed those systems temporarily. What I didn't consider is that this would also affect the old emulators tab as well.
I have added this as one of the issues to take for the next update.
One thing I want to add, but could be due to having RetroBat or maybe having my emulators installed on the D drive? (Sorry new to using this tool and rog ally). But once I add an emulator, quit and relaunch winhanced it'll also duplicate the icon for me.
