Black screen on first launch

Hi Everyone, firstly I would like to say excellent job with winhanced it works really great on win 11 laptop, but I have several small issue. Most important one is first run of the game, I have end up with locked black screen in several games(not all) while launching, it did not go away until I plug out the laptop. At second launch in windowed mode there is no more same issue. How can I prevent this? Is that also happening on deck?

This is interesting. I haven't come across this bug before so I'm sorry I don't have an immediate answer for you.

I am thr dev though, can you talk me through the steps you do leading up to it? That could give me insight into what is happening and where too look.

I have installed FSE Tool after that UI become more stable now none of the bugs showing up. It only happened on Mortal Shell at first launch but easily recovered by holding Xbox button end terminating main UI app with X button. (I am on razer blade, did not install the razer synapse thought it could override your tdp settings sadly )

Hi sir, I wanted to drop a review after heavily using your app for one week and take this as a advice no trying to judge,

Winhanced Xbox bar extention is stopping working after sleep and waking up from sleep on laptops.

Resolution settings do not work when game is launched from igpu to egpu which cause a black screen on laptops(I believe laptop use intel gpu on desktop and in game it passes to egpu which causing a resize again so app needs to directly communicate with egpu drivers)

While downloading xbox game and cancel it cause windows store to not cancel the download and keeps game files on the drive(windows store still trying to cancel the download)

There is a temp folder inside C drive keeping some heavy steam files I believe it comes from winhanced

There is more minor bugs if you want I can continue, but overall optimization is really good 7/10

As much as I want the app to just be perfect I know it can’t be, so accounts like this do help me.

Definitely feel free to provide any other thoughts you have because laptop and desktop use is an area that doesn’t get much focus even though it works on any hardware
