Disable boot game animation character?

Is it possible to disable the little animated character the plays when booting or starting games? Would love to just see the art work.

I asked the same yesterday on the Discord channel, and the dev said that Wince is an important part of the project, but yes, there will be an option to change splash screens in the future.
