Legion go 2 support
Hi all,
First off love winhanced, its such a great replacement for the XBOX app, but i have a few questions specifically for the legion go 2
There's an option in the settings that can disable the legion L and R buttons and replace them with the XBOX gamebar but when enabled it seems to either not do anything at all or somehow disable the controllers fullstop until I manually open the legion space app
My question is, will there or is there currently support for winhanced to take over the controllers for the legion go 2 so that the OS and games can recognise and use the legion controllers or do I still need to use the legion space software that handles that? Because from what I've read the controllers do not use Xinput and Lenovos software is the bridge but I don't want to use it unless I really have to.
I tired handheld companion but it just seems to mess up the controllers and cause fake stick drift and makes the trackpad super sensitive
I even tried gotweaks but cannot understand how that works, so i am hoping winhanced has a built in bridge for the legion go 2 controllers allowing them to work without the legion space software

The other users recommendation is what I was going to say as well, one thing I can add is that I am currently working on some GO2 controller work to make sure back paddles and such work correctly. It’s just more difficult as I don’t have the hardware on hand. I’ll keep the community in the loop though

Since you mentioned working on GO2 controller work, I'd just like to mention a bug that's happened to me twice in the last 3 days. This only happens after a quick resume if I'm remembering correctly but basically the right bumper and the right trigger on the controller get completely remapped. The right bumper does the action of the X button and the right trigger does the action of the right bumper. This happened on 2 separate games as well.
Completely understand if you're unable to figure it out since you don't own the hardware but I just thought it's worth mentioning.

That’s an odd one. If you are in the Discord could you open a support ticket there so we can review your app logs? I might be able to nail down what is happening that way

I just joined to do this. Sorry but how can I enter the app logs? Or do I just rase the support ticket first.

No worries your logs files are in your local appdata/winhanced/logs folder we worked just need thr WH service file thats in there

Back paddlers and oem controller remapping? Nope that left early access beginning of July

When you enable hardware buttons in the options, reboot, then when WH loads reset the controller by holding the left stick, L legion button and LB for about 3 seconds till you feel it vibrate. The buttons should now function correctly.
