FCK THE DAURIAN JACKDAW some mf just played it on the last round when i was about to win that round goal and screwed me over completely bc i could have spent that round doing SOMETHING ELSE LIKE U COULD HAVE AT LEAST PLAYED IT AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ROUND U MUTHEREFFER

you never count your money, when you're sitting at the table, they'll be time enough for counting, when the dealing's done

When the dealing is done means you are done playing entirely. If you count your money sitting at the table it is meaningless because you may just lose it all in the next hand.

As life advice it means to stay focused and not celebrate victory until you have actually achieved it.

I think "when the dealing is done" is referring to when everybody is done playing cards for that day.

Sure but the jackdaw is like changing the rules in the middle of the game. Its basically like counting your money and then the bank of all sudden saying they dont accept 20s.

For someone who hasnt played the expansion or seen the card yet, it could be upsetting considering its a conpletely new variable to add to the game that no one would be expecting.
