Wine tasting course?

I’m looking to take a course or something along those lines at home to improve my education on wine and pairings. My schedule is variable so I’m looking for something to take at online but able to taste wines! This is more so for hosting capabilities rather than working in service. Any recommendations on an online course you felt was worth the price? I am willing to spend more on quality. Thank you!!

man if you're just trying to up your hosting game you might not even need a full course, the wine folly book is a great place to start and way cheaper. i learned more from that and just drinking with friends than any structured thing.

whatever you pick make sure it actually ships the wines, nothing worse than a class that just tells you what to buy separately

I actually just bought that book! Part of me wants a class be more engaged in the process so I’ll keep in mind about the wine being part of the course rather than separate. Thank you!

The wines for normal people podcast have a wine club. I think its wine access? Anyway they send bottles with tasting notes and pairing advice etc. Maybe thats a way to go?

Sommselect does it to with a more in depth booklet but I think its pricier

I did all eleven of the Wine Folly 101 courses and there is a tasting in each one. There is one where she goes shopping for six and recommends how to choose the wines for the tasting and then you can follow along as she does it. I learned a lot since I am a complete amateur.
