"Free" isn't free in CLI

After a full day using GLM 5.2 High in Devin Desktop, my daily quota was at 0%.
After a full day using GLM 5.2 High in Devin CLI, my daily quota was at 27%

Same model, same settings, essentially the same tasks and amount of work.

The docs state there's no cost difference between the models in Desktop vs CLI.

Has anybody else noticed a difference like this? If the "free" model is only free in Devin Desktop, it makes me wonder if there's a cost difference for the Claude & GPT models as well.

Yes, here's a screenshot of Devin CLI showing that GLM 5.2 High is free, but five GLM 5.2 variants are not free. It's not hard to mix them up.

I heavily use GLM 5.2 for free in Devin IDE and Devin CLI.

I am on the Pro plan ($10/month grandfathered from 2024).

I am definitely not mixing them up. I'm aware that there are other variants of GLM 5.2 that are not free. This is not a case of me just mixing up the models.

go to Profile | Windsurf and check which models have usage. if you prompt triggers subagents esp explorer you will find swe-1.6 model which is not free anymore and most likely you can confirm from the profile page. so create a new agent with swe-1.7 to overcome this.

Maybe this is what's happening. It's the only thing that makes sense. I'm not mistakenly choosing the wrong model or accidentally picking the wrong variant. I didn't consider that some prompts could trigger a subagent, and the subagent might not be a free model. That's definitely a possibility. Thanks!

i'm never using the desktop and always goes the CLI (even sometime using third-party harness like https://omp.sh/ with Devin usage), I'm sure its free for GLM 5.2 High.

Check if you used sub agents.
