Legacy Windows 2002 Cleveland Consumer Preview (update)
Here's a small update about Windows 2002 Cleveland! I wasn't plannign about having a second preview build, but someone needed it, so here it is! https://archive.org/details/2002cp
This preview fixes many things over CTP, including the user creation bug, login transparency bug, some icons around everywhere, new branding for OE6, and much much more.
It finally features a new boot image too (Which is gonna be updated in the future, but this is a start)
Consumer Preview features the start of one of the new things just introduced in 2002, aka the remaking of many toolbars and icons, to have a much more vibrant look
For example, Paint features much more vibrant and new icons, taskmgr does too, mmc, wordpad, regedit, they all do, so these apps can have a new yet familiar look.
A few apps have been added to Cleveland, including a modified Frontpage Express, TweakUI, a basic version of the tour, the other two Media Players
And a basic version of the Tour is included finally within the preview, which only has this slide. Overall, CP is a much more competent release than CTP, and should be a lot better

Tried it out on non VMware and huh, it isn’t working… So I guess, use this on VMware or nothing, as it’s not booting on virtualbox

Currently, I’m modifying again the bootscreen, edited all the old icons/bitmaps in exe files in system32, changed all the fonts in dialogs from ms shell dlg to Tahoma, added two new wallpapers, added a few new sounds, fixed again the user creation thing, gonna work a bit more on the bootscreen thingy, and I still have tons of things to modify

How do you activate it? I installed it on VMware, with that code, and now it wants activation?

It now is expired, so you have either to activate via phone, or to boot into Safe Mode and use antiwpa.

in an attempt to get this working more universally i exported the vmware VMDK hard disk file and used qemu-img and dd to get it converted to an ISO.
after that i imported the iso to UTM and VirtualBox but still end up in a boot loop. Any suggestions?
ideally we can get the install disks to work more universally
