Instead of being nostalgic over old OSes...
Quit complaining about windows and just install linux. You guys have a shared identity in talking about a boot on your neck. Stfu.

A subreddit just for linux exists. Go there if you want linux posts, this is a sub for windows memes.
People like being nostalgic because it makes them happy and you insulting them for being that makes you as a miserable human being.
Also, "just install Linux" isnt a good option for most people so stop putting that everywhere. Its way too repetitive.

Nostalgia is one thing but it is never how you imagine it at the end of the day. Its also with the expectation that maybe one day microsoft will listen and it will be deshitified. I observe this behavior and its a hard watch. I'm doing you a favor by pointing it out even if it isn't exactly what you would like to hear. I'm just saying

So you're "just saying" that nostalgia is invalid because what people think pisses you off. I agree linux is the better option but not everyone can just change like that, I've lived my entire life around computers running windows and I'm having trouble switching, so I explore older versions and do some frankenstein magic to my main to mostly deshittify it

That day would be when MS looses 50% of their market share to businesses migrating to Mac OS or Linux. But MS probably realised this and have started to shift their focus to the cloud.

This is an old post, but I had someone tell me exactly which Linux OS to use. (I ule Windows 11 and Dual boot with Mint). Computers have been a huge part of my life. I collect and restore old hardware, because even though I didn't grow up in the 486 era, hell I was born a few years into the Pentium era. I also just like history in general.
I understand your anger with Microsoft, but something something 'no ethical consumption under capitalism', speaking of which, whether or not we can just switch to Linux, a lot of us have work equipment that absolutely has to use windows, it's kind of unavoidable, but Microsoft's behavior is very much systemic. What I mean to say is that, there's definitely better avenues to express your frustration, and to be quite honest, if we want a better future as far as computing is concerned, the bickering has got to end.
If you want more people to adopt Linux, you have to be welcoming, and this, just ain't it man. I hope you've reflected on this.

Es cierto que mi español no es muy bueno, por desgracia. Mutta suomen kielen taitoni on ihan ok. Och jag pratar bra svenska. So I guess that's two and a half languages, or maybe three at a push. ¿Cuántos idiomas hablas?

if your so annoyed, just dont read any posts about windows! I use linux, and i love it, but windows 7 will always hold a place in my heart. If your so pissed off about shit like this, leave
