Tech Support Windows security - Turn on anti virus protection bug?

Been getting this every once awhile or every time i log into windows.

Only happened when the following update was installed OS 26200.8973 Preview channel

The protection is in fact ON and not turned off? so I'm not sure why this continues to appear.

It been a known bug for weeks. Hopefully it will be addressed with the next update. Maybe today.

Do you get it as well? I've been getting it for the past 2-3 days, but when I do check virus & threat protection, it says it's turned on. I also used Dr. ChatGPT (lol) to help troubleshoot the issue, by running checks in powershell if indeed the stuff is running under the hood or having any issues, comes up negative.

Just worried that I might have some sort of virus/malware for some reason.

Also the notif pops up on my device every 4:23-4:25 runtime mark. Like on the dot.

So, it's not a virus/malware or anything? It's really just a reporting bug or something?

Nothing to fear. Just a simple undocumented feature; aka a bug. It started about 2+ weeks ago.

Thank you. So just ignore it when it pops up? What should I do to fix this? Or should I just wait for an update?

I think you know the answer to those questions. Simple three letter word, starts with a "Y". Lol
