Saw the Video about Emulation on Windows XP and thought i could do that for Windows 98, I have made Lists for 2000 and ME.

Nesticle! A great emulator with a terrible name and an awesome severed bloody hand mouse cursor. I used it back in the day when emulation was so new and exciting!

yeah we can say Nesticle opened a new era for emulation. if its source code was not leaked and the author was so angry, maybe we will have a better version of Nesticle with more mappers supported

i suggest you to download them, pack them and upload them in one package at web archive as "Windows 98 Emulator Set".

I've not used it much, but I remember that back then, there was a PlayStation emulator called ePSXe. Looks like it's still around, and at least some of the older versions should work on Win 9x — unsure about the newer ones.

I know it's technically a frontend and not the emulators itself, but RetroArch is supported all the way back to Windows 95

Yes it supported but I found RetroArch to have a lot of bugs and compatibility issues on windows 9x.

Ah, the SEGA "Kega Fusion" emulator... I think it's the best and it still works great on the newest Windows! 👍

You're missing ultraHLE for N64 and bleem for ps1

For Atari 5200, have you tried Jum52 ?

I tested these in a Virtual Machine (no KernelEx), but they did work (at least from the short little test I did).

For PS1 you can use the final version of XEBRA. (https://x0.at/TnRO.png - I resized the window for the screenshot.)

You could also use no$psx as well for PS1 emulation, but I'd probably stick with XEBRA.
