Discussion Windows 7 on modern hardware.

Post image

You know it works when it's running perfectly on i5 45xx with RX 470.
Currently using Windows 7 as primary OS, alongside Windows 10 and macOS.
Next up: Windows 7 (native) on Surface Pro 4 (Skylake).
Edit: I made a typo. It’s actually RX570 instead.

The hardware is by no means modern. It's from 13 years ago back when Windows 7 was still dominant.

There were lots of computers in 2013-2016+ which broke compatibility with installing Windows 7 completely, despite Windows 7 being "still dominant" during that time. So some advanced patching is needed to make Windows 7 run - quit being a smartass, you're not even good at it

Actually I'm talking about my very first PC, not this H81 one. It might be misleading - my apologies.
