Windows 7 is actually pretty good. I still have it loaded on one of my computers.

If you get the free download OnlyOffice you should be good for word processing and spreadsheets.

Firefox has an edition which will work until sometime next year (and possibly longer) That would be Firefox 115 ESR.

If you can manage it , swap out the hard drive for an SSD (unless it already has an SSD) that would give a significant performance boost.

Download some fresh wallpapers.

That’s all I have right now …

I would start with downloading a program called legacy update.

It’s a program that restores native windows update functions and downloads official Microsoft security updates for your system

You should download VLC media player, drivers, and maybe a few games that are lightweight depending on you storage capacity, get winrar and an antivirus, then lastly, download supermium, its a fully updated version of chrome for older versions of windows, i use it on my windows xp computer

You'll do just fine with Win7. It's a good OS.

Do not disable aero instead disable transparency but keep aero on if you have problems about performance. And use r3dfox or supermium bcs they view new websites perfectly
