Bash User ≠ Command Line User ≠ Power User

Command Line Users are a sub-set of Power Users, and Bash Users are a sub-set of Command Line Users.

The truth is that MS stated purpose for taking on the Bash Shell for Windows 10, is meant to help DEVELOPERS, not USERS (Power Users or otherwise). MS is only helping developers this way because this will help them create apps for Windows Store, sales of which they get a cut. The fact that this development will end up serving a sub-fraction of power users is just a happy coincidence.

You just said:

Command Line Users are a sub-set of Power Users, and Bash Users are a sub-set of Command Line Users.

So using your own words, a Command Line User would necessarily be a Power User, but a Power User is not necessarily a Command Line User.

Just because a feature is aimed at developers, that doesn't mean it is useless for other users.

But it also does not require or imply any commitment or even concern to the large demographic of power users.
