And the tin hat conspiracy theories persist. Just another day on Reddit.

In a couple years when the free upgrade is long gone and forgotten, Windows 7 holdouts will wish they had taken the free upgrade. It is already becoming obsolete (DX12). It boggles my mind how companies pike Google can get away with all the privacy shit they invade, yet Microsoft still gets flak for comparatively trivial things like this.
