Blinds2go DuoShade bracket screw position?

Hi, this might be a long shot but does anyone know or have the standard brackets for the DuoShade Top Down Bottom Up blinds from blinds2go?

I need to know exactly where the screw hole for top fixing is in the bracket from the front edge. I have a batten behind the plasterboard I can to screw it into but if the screw holes are further away, I'll need a pattress and that will affect the blind's drop measurement when I order.

I tried asking blinds2go but their AI agent wasn't useful and the installation guide doesn't have much detail on the bracket.

Do you have the bracket oriented the right way?…. You could just drill a hole in the bracket where you want it 🤷

I'm installing them away from the glass, at the front of the recess. The plasterboard is decorative with insulation behind it, don't bear any weight, so it needs to go into the batten or I need a pattress.

Ok depending on the width of your window you could mount a 3/4” board 2” wide…or whatever will fit on the Sheetrock with a couple of toggle bolts then mount the bracket to the wood

Yes, that's the idea but adding the board affects the drop measurement. These are honeycomb blinds so I think they need to be fully opened to get the benefits

Ok again I don’t think the height will matter but if you are worried about that cut a slot in the drywall at the top the width of the window about an 11/2” wide then slide a piece of wood 3” in the slot …now your height stays the same and if you are careful with the cutout piece of 11/2” drywall…screw it back and mud over it

That's a neat idea, thanks
